Here are answers to some of our more common questions.

A family membership is for parents and up to four dependent children. Additional dependents are $25 each.  You can also add a caregiver (formally known as the Nanny Pass) and Grandparents to a Family Membership for $100 per caregiver/grandparent.

As soon as payment is received and wristbands are given you can start using the pool.

Guests are allowed under normal circumstances, and there is a full day and half day guest fee. A guest is allowed to attend with a member no more than five times per season.

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the gated pool area.

The Green Valley Gators Swim Team is run by the Aquatic Club and does involve an additional fee. Please email greenvalleyaquaticclub@gmail.com for details.

Both group lessons and private lessons are offered by the pool manager and lifeguard staff.  Information regarding lessons is sent out to members prior to the Memorial Day pool opening.

All questions regarding swim lessons should be addressed with the pool manager and/or lifeguards.

There is a separate fee for swim lessons.

The Swim Club at Green Valley – Rules of Conduct

The Swim Club at Green Valley strives to provide a safe, family orientated environment for all pool members and guests to enjoy. To ensure that this type of environment exists, pool members are advised of the following rules of conduct; whereas all pool members or guests of members are required to follow when they are on the Green Valley Campus.

  • All members and their children are required to wear their age-appropriate wrist band when on the Green Valley campus. Social members are required to wear a social member wrist band. Guests are required to wear a guest band.
  • Sharing wristbands with non-members is strictly prohibited. Members that are identified breaching this policy are at risk of having their membership revoked.
  • Adult members are required to sign in guests under the age of 15. This includes Moonlight Swims. Adults who sign in guests, are responsible for the behavior of those guests.  Guests are subject to the same rules of conduct.
  • Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or a babysitter 14 years of age or older, who has been designated by the parents.
  • The Splash Pool and the shallow end of the Family Pool are reserved for toddlers, young children, and their caregivers.
  • Disruptive behavior including but not limited to the use of profanity, obscenity, excessive physical contact, inappropriate displays of affection or behaving in a way disruptive to the normal and orderly operation of the pool or pool grounds is prohibited.
  • Members and guests are required to follow the direction of management, staff, and lifeguards. Safety in the pool and on the campus is the number one priority.
  • Wearing bathing attire considered to be inappropriate for a family environment will be addressed by management.
  • Verbal abuse or harassment of the pool manager, assistant pool manager, lifeguards or other pool members is strictly prohibited.
  • Theft of Green Valley property, or property belonging to other pool members/guests is subject to disciplinary and possible legal action.
  • Destroying or defacing any Green Valley property or property belonging to other pool members is subject to disciplinary and possible legal action.
  • Pool members are prohibited from using The Chateau Tent and restrooms unless there is a GVCC event that is utilizing the tent.
  • Members and guests are prohibited from bringing and consuming alcohol on the property that is not purchased at the Cabana Bar. Members and guests who are visibly intoxicated will not be served alcohol and will be asked to leave the premises.
  • Possession or use of tobacco by minors under the age of 21 on Green Valley property. Persons over the age of 21 may smoke at the designated area outside the pool gate. Smoking inside the fenced area of the pool is prohibited. Smoking in the Cabana bar structure is prohibited.
  • Fighting is strictly prohibited and defined as physical contact meant to do harm to a pool employee or other pool member.
  • Being under the influence of, using, or possessing illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia on Green Valley property is prohibited.
  • Entering Green Valley property when under a law enforcement restricted activity program such as wearing a tracking bracelet is prohibited.
  • Weapons of any kind are not permitted on Green Valley property.

Guest Policy

Guests of members are more than welcome at GVCC.  Key points to remember when bringing a guest:

  • A guest must be accompanied by a member.
  • Adult members are required to sign in guests under the age of 15. This includes Moonlight Swims.  Adults who sign in guests, are responsible for the behavior of those guests.  Guests are subject to the same rules of conduct.
  • Although there is not a limit to the number of guests a member may sign in, any one shall be permitted to attend the pool up to five times during the season.

Pool members who do not comply with the listed regulations will be asked to leave the Green Valley property immediately.

Where appropriate, in the sole discretion of the general manager, concession stand manager, pool manager or assistant pool manager, law enforcement officers may be called to assist in resolving a problem if it escalates.  If appropriate, individual incidents involving failure to comply with the listed regulations will be reviewed by the Green Valley Board of Directors. If deemed necessary, pool members involved in the incident may have their unused portion of seasonal dues returned to them, and they will no longer be members of the Green Valley Swim Club.
